Saturday ride to Tip Top
On the road photo taken by Spideralamode.com while on Live Oak Canyon heading for Cook's Corners on Santiago Canyon Rd after breakfast. Everyone in the group had a picture taken as they went past his spot, I believe.
Another rider inducted into the Tip Top crew, Carolyn on her Harley. Carolyn has been riding about the same amount of time as I have but is riding to Phoenix and Arkansas by her self, very gutsy and a good rider is all I can say.
Riders for this trip to breakfast include: Luis & Minita on the red V-Star 1300 (for sale), Doug Reeves-ride leader on his red Honda Goldwing, Cindy (Mrs. Reeves) on her V-Star 1300 (not for sale), John & Teresa on the Stratoliner with no windshield, Mau on his new Raider, Carolyn W. on her Harley Davidson Heritage Soft-tail with a 95 cu in. engine, Joe on the Victory Vision, and me on the Road Star. Mau took the picture.
We made it there just before a long line formed and breakfast was very pleasant. A number of riders were interested in going over to the 15, then up to Ortega Hwy and over to Ladera Ranch and Santiago Canyon, so off we went.
We stopped for gas a few miles early as I hit reserve as did Luis. Filled up and off we went to Ortega Hwy and our one big stop at the overlook turn-out. Gorgeous day!
Way over at the end of Lake Elsinore is where I soloed an Ultralight aircraft (lawnchair with wings).
Super job of posing everybody. Ortega crew: Luis & minita, Doug & Cindy, John & Teresa and Me.
From here it was up Antoinio Parkway then Live Oak Canyon and home, and as luck would have it we passed Spideralamode taking pictures of passing riders and cars.
