Our regular and informal CHAPTER 230 bike night was held at Bob's Big Boy on Katella and Main in Orange with 10 members in attendance. We had Carolyn who braved another encounter with the effervescent and always entertaining Glenn, plus Chuck on his Gold Wing, Johney and me on our Road Stars, Joe came on that amazing little Vespa, Brian-Gold wing and Stan-Roadliner, were there at the end of the table, with John arriving on his Stratoliner and a special appearance by Ken Y. on his brand new to him 2010 Can Am Spyder RT. In other words we all really had a great time.

This was a floating event meaning we have two established meeting places for weeks one and two, with Blakes the first Thursday and Tutto Fresco the second Thursday of every month but the 3rd or 5th Thursday can be any place we decide on. This time it was Bob's. The reviews of the food and service were not too kind, with food getting the most negative vibes. Looks like our search for a great 3rd location continues.
Our July meeting schedule as determined so far is: Thursday July 7 2011 at 6 PM -Blakes on Mira Loma Ave. Anaheim, just two Blocks west of Kraemer Ave and about 1 mile north of the 91 Fwy..

Reviews are mixed on the Can Am Spyder and I can relate that it is not a motorcycle nor is it a trike in the sense of being sort of like a motorcycle. It is a three wheel vehicle that has it's own unique riding style and feel and seems to take a whole new set of learning and training.
