STAR informal Bike Night Thursday Aug. 4, 2011

We had a great STAR 230 informal Bike night at Blake's BBQ tonight. Johney, Lori and Rick, Brian and Brian, Stan, Chuck, Glenn, Me and Can-Am Ken. Fun night. Never fire live rounds in Chuck's direction-trust me. Some great stories for sure. Try to make the next one at Tutto Fresco in Orange.

Chuck told a story about being in the bush one time out in the desert and hearing live .22 cal rounds passing overhead with their signature small caliber buzz.  Definitely a moment that will get your attention so he yelled out in his usual fog horn loud voice "Hey knock it off" and suddenly three more rounds went zipping by overhead.  So what does he do but take out a .357 revolver and send 6 rounds back their way.  That was the last he heard any more rounds come flying by.  They got the message. That just knocked me over, only Chuck could be that bold.

Lori on her V-Star 950 and Rick on his FJR finally made it to a bike night and found out how big those pulled pork sandwiches are.  Brian H. took my advice and ordered the children's plate.

Every and any subject could come up in the discussion, you just have to be there to share in the friendship and listen in on some wild stories.
