2011 has been a great year for riding, Did the Colorado-Monument Valley trip thanks to Johney Harper, Also the Death Valley ride with Joe P., John R., Chuck, Johney & Micha and Kenny, plus Wayne, Brian, Doug R. & Jim and several regular STAR Chapter 230 rides.  I did miss the Laughlin trip and a couple other rides due to the cardioplasty but otherwise a great year.  I now have 30,600 miles on the Road Star in less than two years.  Bought it February 2010.

Our Chapter 230,Thursday Friends of Stan (FOS) meetings have been getting rather popular with attendance reaching 12-16 members and guests at our informal bike night meetings.  The Regular 4th Thursday of the month Chapter 230 Bike Night at Portillo's in Buena Park is the real thing for members but it seems one night a month is not enough.  If you are not on my e-Mail list for meeting locations drop me a note.

Got to meet a few BeginnerBiker-dot-Org members in 2011, Teri-NoCoGal and Richard-Norty both from San Diego Area plus Lucy55 Gloria and Vernon and also Jo up in Durango.  We need to get a ride together for the west coast members of my longest running online membership forum.

Looking forward to another great year with STAR Chapter 230.  Terry did a bang-up job as President along with Ed as V.P. and now with Ed P. stepping up as the new president it should be a banner year.

Personally and family related 2011 was spectacular and 2012 looks to be beyond that now that my daughter has a fantastic job.  Everyone is doing so well considering the economy and all, with a new gorgeous baby girl-Juliet for my nephew Scott and January.  Grand daughter Madilyn is getting to be such a big girl and I can't wait until she learns how to play that guitar and get her on the country music circuit.

Thanks to all my Blog readers, I really appreciate your feedback and comments.

I enjoy getting to share it all with a lot of really wonderful friends and family...A Happy, safe and prosperous New Year for 2012.
