Orange motorcycle group member birthday party

More excitement than planned
We start for John’s 15th birthday party and the directions seem clear enough, 3141 Michelson in Irvine.  Well friends, that was way too optimistic.  The trusty navigation system in the Lexus took us right to where 3141 Michelson probably should be but sadly it was not there and never had been.  I called John and luckily got through to get directions.  After attempting to follow the streets he gave me, only making it more confusing.  Once again back on the phone, thank goodness for hands-free calling.  I finally figure that I should turn left on Carlson then drive up to a big driveway, but oops, wrong driveway, back on track and we finally arrive at what appears to be the correct place.  By this time I am one inch from giving up, but luckily we find the right spot and park.  It would have been very helpful to everyone if a map had been included as a heads up to the confusing location where the correct site is on one street but identified as being on another.  One guest gave up totally even after finding the building, was so frustrated just left, otherwise everyone that was planning to come finally made it.

We arrive and find the right room and after a while things get going as more find their way through the confusing directions.  It's John's 15th birthday, how is that possible?  Only if you are born on February 29 can you get away with claiming 15 birthdays at age 60.

There are a few reasons this social event is even in my blog, first a number of our motorcycle friends were there making it relevant and second we get a chance to participate in a fire drill of fairly large and real proportions.  When John throws a party he tries to entertain everyone.

The food was good even to the extent I went back for seconds and I even saw at least one other person go back for thirds.
No mention of which motorcycle group, you will have to figure it out on your own.
Now what is the deal with the watches?  Invicta owners unite, where is Joe?
